When Quaker built the new glass plant in Maries County a decade ago, one of the distribution concerns was getting the completed glass to the right departments in a timely manner. Norma Jean Hoffman was the solution. On an average day, Norma unloads a dozen trucks packed with full glass carts. She delivers the carts, more than a hundred each day, to various departments throughout Quaker’s manufacturing plant, walking as much as 16 miles a day making her deliveries. All the while, her mantra has been to get the glass there on time with minimal breakage. Always at work and ready to go, Norma Jean has continuously reflected the core values and culture of Quaker Windows & Doors.
