With the smell of BBQ floating through the air, Quaker Windows & Doors was proud to be a major sponsor and participant in the Capital City Cook-Off, for the 12th time. This annual fundraiser is for Jefferson City’s Special Learning Center, which offers a variety of comprehensive, early intervention services for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
Our BBQ team consisted of Kelly Mahoney, Casey Schulte, Lauren Ordway, Andy Iven, Jeremy Knoll, Tom Stegeman and Jake Wegman. They did a great job manning the grills all day. While we didn’t finish at the top, Quaker came in a respectable 18th out of 52 total teams.
